McCabe Architects has been selected along with some of the leading architects of 2015 from N-W Ireland to showcase their work in an exhibition entitled 'Inside the Line'.
As one of the final exhibitions of Irish Design 2015 - the exhibition in The Hive, Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim will give a behind the scenes look at the preparatory work and methodology of the exhibiting architects. This is a great way to conclude what has been an interesting and exciting year for McCabe Architects.

The Importance of a Building Survey

Most people wouldn’t dream of buying a second hand car without a mechanic’s report yet a recent Red C poll commissioned by the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) shows that 6 out of 10 house-buyers did not get a survey done prior to the purchase.
The idea that 60 per cent of buyers wander blindly into what is probably the biggest financial commitment of their life shows a peculiar lack of concern for their personal finances.
