This contemporary extension to Scoil Naomh Mhuire consisted of an additional classroom and multipurpose room. The modern addition used traditional and local materials to complement the existing traditional school building.

The extension provided a defined boundary to the busy N15 primary road to the front of the building. Modern entry points were provided at either side away from the N15 which links Bundoran and Cliffoney, County Sligo. Planning was granted in late 2014 with the extension completed for the beginning of the school year in 2015.
